APA-Practice Guideline for the Treatment of Patients with Major Depression Disorder
The APA Practice Guideline for the treatment of patients with Major Depressive Disorder recently replaced the Institute for Clinical Systems Integration (ICSI) Major Depression in Specialty Care in Adults. Quest determined the APA practice guideline's recommendations applied to a greater audience of providers. You may access this guideline through your local library. The guideline is found in the American Journal of Psychiatry 157:4, April 2000 Supplement. You may also access this guideline at www.psych.org and choose clinical resources as your topic followed by practice guidelines.
